Dear OLOL Parents,
As we wrap up another productive week, I wanted to share some highlights and updates from the school.
First, we successfully completed the TerraNova Next testing this week. Our students gave their best effort, and I am confident they will be proud of their hard work. Next week, we will focus on make-up exams ensuring every jaguar has the opportunity to complete their assessments.
On Monday, we had our School Advisory Board meeting. Board members gathered to discuss important updates regarding both academics and our Catholic identity. These meetings provide a great opportunity to collaborate on ways to continue supporting our students and strengthening our school’s mission. We appreciate the dedication and thoughtful input from all those involved.
We also had the privilege of celebrating some of our brightest stars! On Wednesday evening, three of our middle school students were nominated for the Step Up Rising Stars Award. The ceremony was held at Christopher Columbus High School, and we are so proud of these students for their outstanding achievements and dedication.
Thursday was a fun-filled day as we celebrated our "101 Days of School!" The halls were filled with adorable Dalmatians, bringing a joyful spirit to the entire school. This event reminded us of how much our little ones have grown and learned so far this year.
Finally, on Friday, we honored our incredible volunteers with a special Volunteer Breakfast. Our volunteers play an essential role in making our school a better place, and we are grateful for the time, energy, and love they invest in supporting our students and staff. Thank you for all you do!
Next week promises to be just as exciting, especially for our lower elementary students! We will be celebrating Dr. Seuss Week with a variety of fun and creative activities. Stay tuned for more updates!
Looking ahead, we have many more exciting activities on the horizon. As always, thank you for your continued partnership in making this a wonderful school year for our students.
